Wicca, Wishlists, and Technology

First things first, I am converting to Wicca. Currently a Cowan, my year and a day of training will be complete November of next year. If you don’t know what Wicca is, i will tell you this. No matter what you hear, it is not Satanic. It does not deal in Evil Spirits. We will not cast evil spells and hexes on you. Wicca is a peaceful, nature loving religion. In most modern religions, unless you are a minister or preacher, generally you are an audience to worship. In Wicca, you are actively involved. That is the main difference in the religions. Read the first chapter of Raymond Bucklands Complete Book of Witchcraftfor a History and Philosophy of Wicca/Witchcraft.

Next subject, which has a bit to do with the last one: Wishlists. I’ve set up a Wishlist on Google/Froogle, which I will keep updated throughout the year. Not that anyone is going to buy half the stuff on there, but I figured why not show you the stuff I’m looking to get. Maybe someone will feel extra generous and buy me a book<3.

Anyway, here’s the link. Click it, take a peek. The books are pretty inexpensive, if you’re in a giving mood<3

Finally, let’s talk about something technological. I got a new phone yesterday, and it has some pros and cons. It has the usual Verizon con of difficult setup and very hassle full contact shifting. The phone can lag a bit, especially in texting, but it does have a larger battery life than my last phone, a better camera, and a sleeker, more aesthetically pleasing exterior.
